The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, said he was confident that with President Muhammadu Buhari’s signature of the 2022 appropriation bill, Nigeria was on the road to resolving its financial difficulties.
In a discussion with newsmen to commemorate the end of the year 2021, the cleric spoke at the St Bakhita Catholic secretariat in Sokoto State.
“We’ve heard the President will sign the budget pretty soon,” he remarked.
We hope it marks the start of a new era in which we may all live better lives.
“We also hope for better things because the Electoral Act Amendment Bill will be finalized by the National Assembly very soon.”
