2023: Ebonyi NNPP guber candidate, Adol-Awam urges EFCC to go after fraudulent politicans. Prophet Chris Adol-Awam, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) candidate for governor in Ebonyi State, has directed the EFCC to pursue politicians who have embezzled public funds.
Speaking to reporters in Abakaliki was Adol-Awam, the general overseer of the Eternal Light Christian World Church.
He bemoaned the extent to which Nigerian politicians steal funds intended for the general populace, emphasizing that this is Nigerians’ main issue.
Adol-Awam claimed that poverty is widespread in Ebonyi and attributed the problem to previous State leaders who, in his opinion, permitted the people to be physically and spiritually imprisoned.
“Our people have been confined, and no matter how much you give to someone who has been caged, he or she will still be poor,” he said. Considering that something in his pocket is drying.
“We’re going to change the way people think. I firmly think that as long as you have God, anything is possible. To help our people believe in their skills, we shall rearrange their thinking.
“Politicians are the issue; the EFCC must take action, but it needs to be reorganized since it has instilled worries in the minds of investors as well. Nobody wants to make another investment in Nigeria.
