2023 Tinubu names Akeredolu as campaign coordinator for South West. The Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has been chosen the Southwest’s Zonal Coordinator for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
A letter informing Akeredolu of the appointment was personally signed by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate.
Akeredolu merited the appointment, according to Tinubu’s letter dated August 8, 2022, because of his remarkable political accomplishments and the extraordinary leadership he had displayed while serving as the governor of his state and as a party member.
“Through this letter, we are glad to officially announce your nomination as the Zonal Campaign Coordinator (South West) of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council,” the letter’s opening line states.
“Given your tremendous political accomplishment and the excellent leadership you have shown as the governor of your state and as a party member, this appointment is proper and fitting.
