Atiku’s Camp Slams Wike for Dishonesty, Deceiving Peter Obi, Obasanjo, Others
“Atiku Abubakar’s Camp Fires Back at Nyesom Wike, Accusing Him of Chronic Disloyalty
In the ongoing political saga, Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign team has once again criticized Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s campaign, took to social media (formerly Twitter) to voice his grievances, asserting that Wike has a history of disloyalty towards those who have supported him.
Bwala specifically pointed to Wike’s alleged deception of Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, as well as former President Olusegun Obasanjo. He further claimed that Wike misled the Nigerian public by proclaiming that he would never align with the All-Progressives Congress (APC), the current ruling party in Nigeria.
Bwala emphasized that, in his view, Wike’s disloyalty stands out as particularly egregious among all the accusations he has made against various individuals. Additionally, he suggested that Wike prioritizes his personal ambitions over the well-being of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).”
He wrote:
“Verifiable facts
Wike allegedly, has never been faithful or loyal to anyone that helped him; Rotimi Amaechi, Patience Jonathan, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. In fact, he deceived Peter Obi that he will support him, deceived Baba Obasanjo in London that he will support Peter Obi, deceived some members of his Gra gra 5 that he will support Obi; lied to Nigerians that APC is a cancer, and he will never support APC government. While doing all this he was secretly negotiating his selfish ambition. He is more disloyal to PDP than anyone he accuses. His weapon is Benjamin Franklins. Imagine a society of Wike’s imagination and wishes? Banana republic
“Check it, every of his rise to fame has always been at the expense of those who helped him. Unfortunately for him, now he has found himself under a politician who knows every side of the political coin. In his small mind, he thinks while pretending to be loyal to Tinubu, he will scatter PDP and take control of the party in other to advance his presidential ambition against PBAT. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu must be smiling like a mouse that was served cookie and a glass of milk without asking for it.”
“Wike, a prominent member of the PDP, experienced a strained relationship with Atiku and his team after failing to secure the party’s presidential nomination for the 2023 election. Despite Atiku ultimately winning the nomination, he did not select Wike as his vice-presidential running mate.
As a result of this, Wike openly supported Bola Tinubu, the candidate from the rival APC, contrary to his party’s preferences. Subsequently, he was rewarded with a ministerial appointment by Tinubu.”
