Burna Boy, Tems, Pheelz and BNXN Makes Obama Summer Playlist – African artists are doing quite incredible at the moment, especially Nigerians who are at the forefront of taking African music to the world stage.
The result of their handwork and dedication has landed them another feat, not just one but three slot in this year’s Obama’s Summer Playlist.

Burna Boy’s “Last Last” which has become a global tune since it’s release back in May was included. The record which contains samples of Tony Braxton’s 2000 hit song “He wasn’t Man Enough” has also debuted at number 86 on the Billboard Top 100.
Second inclusion on the list is Tems’s beautiful record “Vibe Out“. The song was part of her extended play record titled “If Orange Was a Place” and released in 2021.
Tems was also featured on Wakanda Forever official teaser, where she covered “No Woman No Cry” with her angelic voice.
Third to make it to the list is “Finesse” by Nigerian energetic producer and singer, Pheelz featuring BNXN formerly known as Buju.
