Campaign office attack Osun PDP demands arrest of perpetrators
Campaign office attack Osun PDP demands arrest of perpetrators. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) branch in Osun State has urged the Nigeria Police and other security authorities to hold those responsible for the damage of the candidate’s campaign headquarters in Osun Central accountable.
This is in light of the party’s warning that such an awful incident may, if allowed to continue, plunge the State into an unthinkable catastrophe.
The Osun PDP denounced the attack on Olubiyi Fadeyi’s campaign headquarters in Osun Central as extremely provocative, careless, and hazardous given the tumultuous security situation in the State in a statement released on Saturday and signed by Oladele Bamiji, its director of media.
The Osun Central Senatorial Campaign Office of its candidate, Olubiyi Fadeyi, was allegedly assaulted and vandalized early on Friday by unidentified individuals who were likely political thugs. The office is located in Oke-Fia in the old Garage area of Osogbo.

The PDP cautioned that the party might not be able to contain its members in the aftermath of such a hazardous aberration, especially since the offenders were clearly identified in the State. The PDP asked the police to use all legal means at their disposal to swiftly bring the attackers to justice.
The statement reads, “Mr. Olubiyi Fadeyi is a peace-loving philanthropist who has never been found lacking in his behaviour as a private entity and also as the party’s candidate for the Osun Central Senatorial seat in the 2023 federal elections. The PDP then questioned why the APC would choose to attack him.

No amount of unwarranted attacks will stop our candidates from working with the electorate to consign the APC and its candidates to the dustbin of history in the State as we get closer to the 2023 general election, the PDP promised.
