EPL Gary Neville issues fresh warning over Chelsea owner, Boehly. Gary Neville, a former player for Manchester United, has once again warned against Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea, and American participation in the English Premier League.
The group that over the summer purchased Chelsea from previous Russian owner Roman Abramovich was led by Boehly.
After spending more than £250 million on new players, the Americans fired Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and replaced him with Graham Potter.
The American has expressed his intention to bring an All-Star game in the style of his native country to the Premier League.
The plan is for players from the north of England to compete against their southern equivalents.
Additionally, the multibillionaire industrialist acknowledged he was not opposed to the European Super League.
“I keep saying it, but the sooner we have the Regulator in [English football], the better,” Neville reportedly stated, according to Metro
The pyramid and foundation of the game are clearly and immediately endangered by US investment in English football.
“They simply don’t understand it and have other ideas. Additionally, they keep going until they achieve their goals!
