Fame manipulative, causes costly mistakes – Fireboy
Nigerian musician Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, also known as Fireboy DML, has likened fame to a “manipulative force.” He compared it to money and sex, suggesting that fame can lead individuals into making “expensive errors.”
He shared these insights during an interview with the popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
Fireboy DML expressed:
“Fame is a challenging force. It’s similar to money and sex. These three elements have the potential to impact your mental state significantly.
“They can influence your thoughts and steer you towards actions you might not have considered otherwise. They can create a sense of being invincible, which can result in making costly blunders.
“And when you’re famous, any mistakes you make are visible to everyone.
“It’s not like being an ordinary person where you can swiftly rectify your errors. There are some errors that come at a high cost, and I am determined not to make those costly mistakes.”
