Renowned songstress Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has revealed her battle with a life-threatening throat infection.
The entertainer, Teni, disclosed that during the creation of her second album, “Tears of the Sun,” she was struck by a potentially fatal throat infection. This unfortunate development occurred just a few months after she candidly shared her weight loss journey with her fans.
She revealed that, after experiencing several episodes of temporary voice loss, medical experts recommended a major surgical procedure to prevent the risk of irreversible voice damage.
In September, Teni was admitted to the hospital due to repeated bouts of exhaustion. Instead of opting for surgery, she chose to undergo treatment. She shared a video documenting her journey from the hospital.
In the video’s conclusion, the singer assured her fans that her upcoming album, “Tears Of The Sun,” is a heartfelt project set to release on the 17th of this month. She also mentioned that one of the singles, “Malaika,” is her expression of gratitude to God.
