Labor Unions announce a nationwide strike.
Organized Labor, including the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), have officially announced a comprehensive and indefinite nationwide strike scheduled to commence on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
This decision was reached during an emergency meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday, following recent events. The labor unions had previously issued a strike threat in response to an attack on NLC President Joe Ajaero in Imo State the previous week.
