Pastor Adeboye Reveals Dove FC, a New Club in the RCCG

As a part of the church’s evangelism initiative aimed at steering the youth away from criminal activities, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has introduced Dove FC, a football club.

Dove FC was officially unveiled at the RCCG’s Redeemed Camp in Lagos State over the weekend. The team’s members were chosen from all six regions of the country, with an age range of 16-21, with the objective of preparing them for potential professional careers in football.

During the event, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the importance of prioritizing service to God over material wealth, encouraging the players to take this message to heart.

Adeboye stated that

“Winning is by God’s divine and not by might. To be a winner, you must have God by your side.”

Prince Dapo Ajibade, the chairman of Dove FC, also explained that the establishment of the team is for the church to break new ground.

“By the special grace of God and with the support of the GOD, Dove FC will expand to become the biggest brand in the world,” he said.
