Peter Obi conferred with honorary citizenship in US. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, received honorary citizenship for Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday from Eric Johnson, the city’s mayor. Obi announced the award using his verified Twitter account.
“Today I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his staff in Dallas, Texas, in the United States,” he tweeted.
The distinction of receiving Dallas honorary citizenship was bestowed to me.
The mayor’s staff, Johnson, declared that Obi will maintain a position of great regard in the hearts of the residents of Dallas city as a result of receiving the honorary citizenship.
