President Tinubu Officially Approves N2.17 Trillion Supplementary Budget, Enacting it into Law.
President Bola Tinubu has officially endorsed the N2.17 trillion 2023 Supplementary Budget, completing the signing ceremony at his office in the Presidential Villa Abuja on Wednesday. The event was attended by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, among others.
Witnesses to the signing included Senate Leader Sen Opeyemi Bamidele, Chairman Senate Committee on Finance Sen Olamilakan Adeola, Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu, and Chairman Federal Inland Revenue Service Zachs Adedeji.
The Supplementary Budget is designed to supplement the expenditures outlined in the 2023 budget previously signed by the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari.
