The late Commonwealth leader Elizabeth II held the title of monarch for more than 70 years, making her the monarch with the longest reign in British history.

He added, “I know her loss will be greatly felt by countless people throughout the nation, the Realms, and the Commonwealth, as well as by the Commonwealth itself.
Charles claimed that knowing how highly regarded and cherished the Queen was would give him solace and strength.
The Duchess of Cornwall, his wife, is currently the monarch and will be crowned with Charles when he becomes king in the future.
Formerly known as Prince of Wales, the 73-year-old king served in the Royal Air Force and was married to the late Lady Diana Spencer.
