Following Manchester City’s 6-1 victory over Bournemouth, Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City boss, drew comparisons between Bernardo Silva and Lionel Messi. Bernardo Silva netted two goals as the Premier League champions reclaimed the top spot in the table. After the game, Guardiola remarked that Silva’s second goal resembled something Messi had executed on numerous occasions in the past.

“He is an exceptional player, and he scored two outstanding goals. The manner in which he executed the second goal is reminiscent of Messi, who has pulled off similar moves many times. Everyone is thrilled to have him here,” Guardiola shared with BBC MOTD.
