Steve McManaman weighs in on Saka joining Arsenal’s adversary in the EPL. Bukayo Saka of Arsenal might fit into Manchester City’s lineup, according to former Liverpool player Steve McManaman, should he decide to join the Premier League winners in the near future.
Saka won’t be moving to Manchester City, according to McManaman, who added that he would be astonished if the 20-year-old ended up joining Pep Guardiola’s team.
Saka had previously been connected to a switch to Manchester City.
The current deal of the England player at the Emirates is slated to end in 2024.
McManaman told horseracing.net, “I don’t know if Manchester City will be able to sign Bukayo Saka.
“The fact that Manchester City let Arsenal to acquire Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus suggests that the connection between the two teams is solid.
He is a young English footballer with great promise. To be honest, I would be quite astonished if they were able to capture him.
He is a great player and has Premier League experience, therefore he could likely join their club immediately soon.
The loss of Bernando Silva for Manchester City would be devastating, but I believe Pep Guardiola would allow him to leave if that were his true desire given his contributions to the team.
