Taaooma has endeared herself to many by inaugurating a foundation aimed at aiding the less fortunate, a move that has touched the hearts of many.

Nigerian skit-maker and online comedienne, Mariam Apaokagi, popularly known as Taaooma, has officially launched her foundation, the Mariam Apaokagi Initiative.

As reported by Punch, the foundation is dedicated to providing assistance to the less privileged, with a primary focus on Taaooma’s hometown, Ilorin, in Kwara State.

The inauguration of the Mariam Apaokagi Initiative took place during Taaooma’s courtesy visit to Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, at his residence in Ilorin.

During the meeting, Taaooma shared her vision for the foundation and expressed her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Detailing the various programs that the foundation will undertake, Taaooma emphasized that the initiative is her way of giving back to society.

Taaooma sought the senator’s support and collaboration for the success of the foundation, and Senator Mustapha commended her for the praiseworthy initiative. He assured her that his doors would always be open for collaboration.

As the Turaki of Ilorin, the lawmaker encouraged Taaooma to create value-driven content that can help combat drug abuse and other forms of criminality in society.

He also emphasized the importance of vocational education for the youth, highlighting its role in job creation and empowerment for the younger generation. Senator Mustapha urged Taaooma to focus on content that promotes positive values and contributes to the fight against social vices.
