The adolescent begged for their life and encouraged the police to intervene quickly while being frequently interrupted by one of the criminals.

According to information obtained by DAILY POST, the terrorists were holding the hostages in spite of having received enormous payment from the family.

On the evening of June 5, the captives were taken prisoner in the Furfuri hamlet of the Bungudu Local Government Area.

Twenty persons were seized, according to the villagers, at least half of whom were female.

Before security personnel stationed nearby could respond, the intruders hastily left the village.
