The 2023 CAF Awards Gala is set to be hosted in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, November 11, 2023. Rabat, Morocco, hosted the ceremony last year.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) unveiled the nominees for various categories last week. Napoli Forward, Victor Osimhen, is in contention for the Africa’s Men’s Footballer of the Year award, while KAA Gent’s star, Gift Orban, is a nominee for the Young Player of the Year award.

Sadio Mane of Senegal secured the Men’s Footballer of the Year award in the previous year, and Asisat Oshoala, the Super Falcons superstar, claimed the Women’s award. Osimhen is considered the frontrunner for the Men’s award this year, with expectations that Oshoala will retain her title in the Women’s category.
