The court remands Mohbad’s friend, auxiliary nurse, back to police custody, rejecting their plea for bail.
As the legal proceedings in the case of the late singer, Mohbad, continue, a Lagos State Court in Yaba has made the decision to return Fisayo Ogedengbe, a 37-year-old auxiliary nurse, and Ayobani Sadiq, a friend of Mohbad, to police custody.
The Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, on Monday, November 6, 2023, upheld the decision to keep Fisayo Ogedengbe and Ayobani Sadiq in police custody. The two individuals had been arrested by the police in connection with the controversial demise of Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.
The court declined their bail request, citing concerns that their release could potentially interfere with the ongoing investigation. The case remains under active investigation.
The late artist’s passing is allegedly linked to injections administered by the nurse.
Additionally, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun has ordered Ayobani Sadiq, who is being held as a suspect in the case, to return to police custody.
