The esteemed set designer, Pat Nebo, has passed away.

Renowned Nigerian set designer and accomplished art director, Pat Nebo, has sadly passed away.

Pat Nebo died on Thursday from a prolonged illness that had left him bedridden.

Shaibu Husseini, a movie journalist and member of the African Movie Academy Awards jury, made the announcement in a post on his official X on Thursday.

Sharing the deceased picture, Shaibu wrote: “I have been reliably informed that foremost Nigerian Production Designer Pat Nebo has passed on.

“He has been bedridden for a while now. Journey well master of the craft of film production design.”

Nebo began his career with his role as a production designer in ‘Ti Oluwa Nile’ in 1993.
