Victor Osimhen Could Leave Napoli By Next Summer
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano suggests that Victor Osimhen might depart Napoli in the upcoming summer transfer window.
By the next summer, Osimhen will have just one year left on his contract with the Serie A champions. Despite reaching a verbal agreement for a new two-year contract with Napoli during the summer, recent controversy involving a TikTok video has caused tension between the player and the club.
Romano indicates that there is currently no agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen regarding the new contract. He stated, “From what I’m hearing guys, at the moment, the beginning of November, there is still no agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen. The contract is still far from being done, and so the feeling is that Victor Osimhen could leave in the 2024 summer transfer window.”
The 24-year-old Nigerian striker joined Napoli from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2020 and played a pivotal role in Napoli’s Scudetto success last season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league appearances.
