You’re no longer untouchable, Conte tells Son Heung-Min in the Champions League. Son Heung-min, the out-of-sorts attacker for Tottenham, has received a warning from manager Antonio Conte that he is no longer invincible in his team.

According to SportsMail, this has caused the South Korean to worry about playing against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Son has started each of Spurs’ seven games so far this season, although he is goalless.

In contrast to last year, when he scored 28 goals for club and country and took home the Premier League Golden Boot, his current form is appalling.

Conte claimed in March that leaving Son off of his team would be “insane.” But with the rise of Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski, who joined from Everton this summer, Conte is no longer dependent exclusively on Son’s combination with Harry Kane.

Before the game, the former Juventus and Chelsea player was especially questioned about Son’s position in his squad.

“I believe that changing previous patterns is necessary when trying to construct something significant, when trying to build something with desire, when trying to be competitive, and when trying to win.

“Due to the fact that we have four guys up front, all of the players must accept the rotation. It’s really tough for me right now to cut one of these four guys, but I have to choose the best course of action for the club and the players.

“You strive to keep the players satisfied, but larger teams have a deep, large roster. We don’t now have a huge team, but we have just recently begun to attempt to travel down this road,” Conte stated.
